B&B SELECTOR MAP

Ringwood is the Western Gateway to the New Forest at a crossing point of the River Avon.  It has been the traditional market town of the New Forest for centuries, with its market charter dating back to 1226. Ringwood still has a lively Wednesday morning street market and has remained a delightful, unspoilt historic town with both quaint and modern shops, street entertainment, restaurants, pubs and cafes.
A stroll along West Street to view the River Avon from the old three-arched stone bridge is worth the time.  Jubilee Gardens in Ringwood are also a nice place to visit.
The parish church of St. Peter and St. Paul is also well worth a visit. Built in 1855 the church contains many memorials from earlier times, including a brass to John Prephete, Rector of Ringwood, who died 1416, and an unusual thirteenth century double piscina. The tower has eight bells.
